• Product Development Scheme for Forestry and Wood Working Industry (1994-), Danish Forest and Nature Agency; The aim of this research scheme is to increase the competitiveness of the Danish forestry and woodworking industry. The topics in 2003 focused to:
  •Improvement of the efficiency of the forestry/wood chain
  •Development of prefabricated wood elements for construction purposes
  •Research concerning wood and moisture problems in buildings
  •Information campaigns about wood or wooden products.

• Production and material technology including wood (2003- 2007), The Danish Technical Research Council; The programme has a thematic field concentrating on the material science of wood. The strategic area focuses on new products and processes based on knowledge. Furthermore STVF are planning to make “Product and material technology” an area of high priority in 2004.
